Prescription Pill Disposal
The Falmouth Prevention Partnership has been involved with several activities to provide a place where residents of Falmouth can easily and safely get rid of unwanted drugs.
Pharmacy-Based Education
The Falmouth Prevention Partnership has developed educational materials that can be given to people at the time they fill a prescription. The material focuses on the safe storage and disposal of medication consistent with the Partnership’s Lock Your Meds and Prescription Pill Disposal programs.
Parents Who Host Lose the Most
A public awareness campaign to provide parents with accurate information about the health risks of underage drinking and the legal consequences of providing alcohol to youth.
Project Sticker Shock
A public education and awareness program to give valid information that it is illegal to provide alcohol to people under 21. The program not only educates about the legal issues of underage drinking, it also engages youth in a prosocial activity that helps the community as a whole.
Playing Above the Influence with the Commodores
A family event with interactive activities including a K-9 demonstration from the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Department, a chance to meet the Commodores players, a slip-n-slide, an obstacle course, a raffle to win an autographed Commodore’s baseball, free food and t-shirts and much more!
