At Gosnold, we know a successful recovery does not end with the completion of a treatment plan; we offer ongoing recovery support for our patients and their families.  We are committed to the community and provide family education, school-based counseling, medical care integration, and support prevention coalitions.

Emergency Room Navigation

A Gosnold Recovery Specialist works in the emergency departments throughout the Commonwealth hospitals to assist and intervene with individuals that come into the hospital with substance use disorder issues.  The primary objective of this collaboration is to motivate the patient to accept treatment and facilitate referral to the appropriate level of care.

Gosnold is working cooperatively with hospital staff and physicians to improve the screening, identification, intervention and referral of substance dependent patients admitted to the emergency department and on medical floors.
