Partial Hospital Program

The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is an adult (18+) day treatment service that specializes in mental health and dual-diagnosis (mental health and substance use disorder).  The program runs 5 days a week Monday-Friday.  Patients receive individualized, focused and goal-oriented treatment to help facilitate stabilization of symptoms in a less restrictive, non-inpatient environment.  Patients receive intensive group therapy including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychoeducation and expressive therapy.  Additionally, patients will meet with a psychiatrist for medication management and a case manager to create an individualized continuing care plan.  Gosnold case managers work collaboratively with probation officers, the Department of Children and Families, primary care physicians, primary supports and outpatient providers to ensure successful continuity of care.

Due to the rising numbers of Covid-19 cases and the safety of our staff and patients, our PHP and IOP programs will be temporarily offered through our virtual platform only. Please reach out to Kevin Rosario, Director of Community Outreach, at or (508) 274-4477 with any questions

IOP is best suited for patients whose primary diagnosis is mental health.  Patients continue to receive medication management, group therapy and case management services.  IOP allows patients to return to work, school or daily activities.  Participation to IOP can range from 1-3 weeks depending upon the treatment goals of them individual.
