Richard Curcuru – President & Chief Executive OfficerRichard Curcuru, MSW, LICSW, oversees operations including the direct management, operational performance, implementation and outcome monitoring and strategic planning of the entire continuum of services Gosnold provides. Richard has over 30 years of clinical and leadership experience in the behavioral health field with experience in inpatient, partial hospital, and outpatient managed care organizations in both the private and public sectors. Prior to joining Gosnold, Richard served as the Executive Director of Behavioral Medicine for the Tenet Northeast Market and in this role was responsible for the overall strategic leadership and oversight of the continuum of clinical services of three hospitals in Massachusetts. Before that he was Executive Director of Behavioral Health Services for Cape Cod Healthcare with responsibility for the operational leadership of all behavioral health programs within the large two-hospital system on Cape Cod. Richard has had other senior leadership positions, including at The Home for Little Wanderers and McLean Hospital and also has an extensive clinical experience providing direct care to children, incarcerated adults and clients with significant addiction problems. Richard earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Westfield State University and his Master’s degree in Social Work from Boston College.
Elizabeth Folcarelli – Chief Operating OfficerBeth Folcarelli, Ph.D., brings more than 25 years’ experience in community-based behavioral healthcare settings to her work at Gosnold. Dr. Folcarelli’s prior experiences as CEO for Youth Opportunities Upheld, Inc. in Worcester MA; Chief Operating Officer and Chief Strategic Officer for Fellowship Health Resources, Inc.; and other director-level positions in Quality Management and Program Operations provide a well-rounded range of expertise in developing and leading programs for vulnerable children, adults, and families. Working collaboratively with state organizations, private funders, and behavioral health experts down the eastern seaboard – from Maine to North Carolina – Beth has been instrumental to bringing about innovative mental health and addiction recovery services to youth, adults, and communities in need. Among these services are Corrections Services, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Community Support Program (CSP), Community-Based Flexible Supports (CBFS), Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Clubhouse, Residential Treatment, Outpatient Services, Intensive Outpatient Program, Intensive Community Based Acute Treatment (ICBAT), Community-Based Acute Treatment (CBAT), and the full range of outreach services under the Massachusetts’ Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative.
Allie Anderson – Chief Clinical OfficerAllie Anderson, MSW, LICSW, Vice President of Outpatient Services at Gosnold, manages the operations of Gosnold’s nine outpatient and mobile treatment facilities both on and off of the Cape. The sites provide mental health and dual diagnosis treatment utilizing a variety of services across the continuum of care in order to provide individualized service plans that are patient specific. Allie has over 15 years of experience in the behavioral health and dual diagnosis field working with children, adults, older adults, individuals and families. Areas of expertise include: diagnostic testing for older adults, child and family therapy, inpatient, Partial Hospital Program (PHP), Driver Alcohol Education (DAE), Structured Outpatient Addictions Program (SOAP), Second Offender Aftercare Program (SOA) and outpatient managed care. Prior to joining Gosnold, Allie was the Senior Regional Director of Outpatient Services at Tenet Healthcare. While in this position she was responsible for the oversight at MetroWest Medical Center, Natick and St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester: psychiatric emergency department, inpatient social workers, partial hospital program, intensive outpatient services, and the 24 hour call center. In this role Allie had the opportunity to expand the outpatient services to include 3 new programs that specialized in the treatment of mental health and dual diagnosis. Before working at Tenet, she was the Director of the Partial Hospital Program and SOAP for Arbour, Inc, Norwell. While working at Arbour Allie was able to once again build upon the current services to include a new dual diagnosis partial hospital program and DAE services. Allie has had other Director Positions, including at Golden Pond Psychiatric Assisted Living Unit and Arbour HRI. Allie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Bates College and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Boston College.
Lonette Rowell – Chief Human Resources OfficerLonette Rowell, BS, leads the Human Resources, Training and Development team at Gosnold and she has oversight for the HR strategic plan and initiatives, HR systems, employee policies, compensation and benefits, performance management, talent acquisition, employee engagement and training and development. She describes her primary objective as seeking to ensure that the company’s employees are engaged, feel valued and are able achieve their highest potential in support of the company’s mission and objectives. Loni has over 30 years of HR experience, the majority of which have been in leadership roles in the non-profit sector. During her time leading HR for ConnectiCare, Inc., a non-profit HMO, Loni supported a ten-fold increase in the size of the staff. She also led HR functions for a regional YMCA office, strengthening its core HR functions and systems as the organization’s footprint expanded. Additionally, Loni served as the Vice President of Human Resources for Bay State Community Services, Inc., a non-profit serving children and families on the South Shore in a dual diagnosis setting that offers residential and outpatient facilities, day treatment, CBHI services, family resource and community recovery centers and community based treatment. During her eight years with Bay State, she lead the organization in replacing and upgrading virtually all of its key HR systems and processes while supporting a more than two-fold increase in the size of its staff. Loni is known as a leader who models integrity and ethical practices, builds alliances and works collaboratively with others and drives continuous improvement. Loni is a graduate of Suffolk University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Public Relations. She has focused her continuing education on leadership, organizational development and diversity. She is a member of the Association for Behavioral Healthcare Human Resources Association. In her free time Loni is an avid Yogi with a passion for animals, spending time with her own four animals at home or volunteering at local animal shelters.
Dr. Andrew Mann – Outpatient Medical DirectorAndrew Mann, M.D., accepted the position of Outpatient Medical Director at Gosnold starting October 3, 2016. Dr. Mann is a psychiatrist with Board Certification in both General and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. He has over 30 years of experience in the clinical and administrative care of psychiatric patients. His current position will require him to be responsible for the clinical oversight of the outpatient departments throughout the Gosnold system. He will be primarily based in Centerville, where he will see patients in both the outpatient and partial hospital settings. Dr. Mann received his BA from Amherst College and his MD from Albany Medical College. He completed his psychiatric training in Boston, where he did his adult residency at Tufts-New England Medical Center and his child and adolescent fellowship in the Harvard system at both Massachusetts Mental Health Center and the Massachusetts General Hospital programs. Dr. Mann then moved to Michigan where he worked in the Henry Ford Hospital system and assisted in the training of medical students and residents. After leaving Henry Ford Hospital, Dr. Mann continued to work as the Medical Director of two inpatient programs in the greater Detroit area. In 2010, Dr. Mann returned to Massachusetts to accept the position of Medical Director of Behavioral Services for Cape Cod Healthcare, working primarily on the inpatient service. Dr. Mann is excited to be joining a team of experienced clinicians who provide high-quality care to the patients in Southeastern Massachusetts who come to Gosnold seeking help for both substance abuse and mental health issues.
